The Quiet Return of Tailoring

Fashion's relationship with tailoring runs in long cycles, but the atelier itself has never wavered — the half-canvassed jacket built in 1995 uses the same construction as the one built this year.

What's changed is context: tailoring is returning to rooms that spent a decade favouring ease over structure, and doing so on its own terms — softer shoulders, higher armholes, cloth that moves.

We'd argue it never really left. It simply waited for the room to catch back up.
